Protege

Privacy Policy

Last updated 21 October 2026

Who we are

Protege is a product of Walkthrough Technologies LLC, a Florida limited liability company (“we”, “us”). This policy covers this website, the Protege application at app.protege.bot, and the email addresses our customers’ agents answer. Questions about it go to hello@protege.bot.

What we collect

Your account

Your name and email address. If you sign in with a password, we store only a one-way hash of it. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account’s identifier, its email address, whether Google has verified that address, and your name — nothing else. We do not request access to your Gmail, contacts, calendar, files or any other Google data.

Workspace content

What a customer puts into Protege and what its agents handle: the email messages sent to and from its agents, with their attachments; the agents’ instructions and configuration; the tools a customer connects; and the record of what each agent did, including every tool call.

Technical information

Server logs — IP addresses, request details and errors — used to run and secure the service. The application sets one cookie, to keep you signed in. This website sets none. Neither uses analytics or advertising trackers.

How we use it

We do not sell personal information, use it for advertising, or use workspace content to train AI models.

AI processing

To write a reply, an agent sends the relevant messages and context to the AI model provider configured for its workspace, through OpenRouter. The provider processes that content to produce a response, under its own terms.

Information from Google

We use the information Google provides only to create your account and sign you in. We do not share it, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. Protege’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Who processes it for us

Amazon Web Services — hosting, the database, and sending and receiving email, in the United States (us-east-1).

OpenRouter, and the model provider configured for a workspace — generating agents’ responses.

Cloudflare — hosting this website and its DNS.

Beyond these, we disclose information only where the law requires it, to protect the safety or rights of people or of the service, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply to it.

People who email an agent

If you write to an address a Protege customer runs, your message is processed on that customer’s behalf and under its instructions: the customer decides what its agent does, and it controls the content. Requests about that content are best sent to the customer; we will help it answer them.

How long we keep it

Security

Every customer’s workspace lives in its own database schema, reached through its own database role, so one customer’s data is not reachable through another’s. Connections to the service are encrypted. Agents act on a message only according to the cryptographically verified domain it was sent from.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us for a copy of your personal information, to correct it, or to delete it, by writing to hello@protege.bot. Depending on where you live you may have further rights, including to object to processing or to complain to a data protection authority; we will honour them as the law requires.

Children

Protege is a service for businesses and is not directed at anyone under 16.

Changes

When this policy changes we will update it here and change the date above, and tell account holders by email about any change that matters to them.
